Story Time

I'm not really sure how many times I have gone looking for Tera and found her in Briggie's room doing this... She always has a story book and a stuffed animal. She is looking at the book with the animal either on her lap or right next to her. I have been trying for a long time to sneak a picture of her "reading" to her animal.
I finally got one but she caught me!! Can you possibly get any cuter than that??!!

Thank You Jesus!!!

(Is it appropriate to title my post that??) IDK, anyways!!! On Wednesday it snowed and we had to go to Flag for a doctor appointment for Tera, 9 months old!!! 18 pounds, 4 ounces, 28 1/4 inches!!! Anyways... onto what my title is about!!! We went to Flag, when we got home, the snow was melted and Brigette was devastated!!! She cried and cried. So I had a great idea!!! I thought, maybe I can teach her some faith!!! So I told her (while praying silently for some help) that maybe if she asked Jesus and Heavenly Father they would let it snow again. I also told her to remember that not everything you pray for you get the way you want (in simpler 3 year old terms), and that was the end of it. Until family prayer last night. It was Brigette's turn. I had completely forgot about the snow. Brigette likes to pray by herself. So after praying for the food she asked...
"please let there be snow for Jesus."
I was really trying not to giggle. I couldn't believe she remembered!
We went to bed, I woke up at 1am with Tera...
IT SNOWED!!!!!!!!
Can you believe it!! I told the Lord thank you for hearing my little girls prayers. When Brigette woke up I didn't tell her, I let her see for herself. While standing on the kitchen chair she yelled
"Yay!! It snowed again!! Thank you Jesus!!!!!"
I love my kids

Halloween FHE

Tonight Zach got home early, and since Beau is still OTR we decided to carve pumpkins for our FHE this week, yes we are a little late, but we actually did have FHE on Monday too!!! Anyways... Zach is so darn talented he can draw, paint, carve, pretty much whatever you want!!! So the kids were pretty excited and were all very patient while Zach helped them all carve their pumpkins. Here he is with Hayden... Hayden and Tanner supervising

Brigete and Mason super excited about their Jack-o-lanterns!!

Brigette picked her pumpkin from the garden all by herself and Mason got his pumpkin from Nana!!!

(Yes I just realized the last two pictures are the same, but since Tera is asleep, I'm heading that way too!!!)

I'm a little nervous...

A couple days ago we were sitting around watching TV when an army commercial came on. Brigette was watching with us. Zach and I weren't really paying any attention until Brigette yelled
"I want to do that!! That looks like fun!!" The commercial showed the back of an airplane opening up and a couple of Soldiers jumping out...
I think she is just as crazy and dare-devilish as her daddy...
I'm not too sure that's a good thing?!

(I was kinda wondering if she had actually seen what had happened, but later I overheard her talking to Mason about jumping out of an airplane)

A few of my Favorite things...

My little Tera Michelle!!! What can I say about this girl!!! She is sooo much fun!!! I love her little laugh, her smile, her two little teeth, how she growls and of course how she says mama!!! She loves this little horse, and loves it when I make it "buck"!! Maybe she will be my little rodeo queen!!! Yes you have my permission to chew on those cheeks!!!
Of course my Briggie!! We LOVE living in Joseph City so close to family!!! Brigette loves riding her trike to Masons house, and is always willing to ride it back and forth if Jessica and I need to borrow something from each other!!! We recently have had to install a lock at the top of the front door to keep Brigette from sneaking out and riding to Aunt Gessa's!!!

Our good ole cowboy neighbor, Leroy, stopped me the other day as he was watching Brigette ride down the street and informed me, "this is why we live in Joseph City" I think he is right!!!

Saturday

On Saturday we went to the Badlands with Beau and Jessica and their kids. We packed up a picnic and some guns, ammo and some awesome targets that Beau had welded that morning. Here is Tanner doing it "Annie Oakley" style
Zach helping Brigette while Mason stands back!!!

Masons turn with some help from Beau.

Brigette again, she sure can go through the rounds!!!!

Mason getting ready, Jessica, Brigette and Emmaree watching.

While Beau, Zach, Jessica, Hayden and I took our turns shooting, the kids played on the hills. Brigette is not scared of anything, I was kinda wondering how long it would take her to make it to the top, but Tanner was good and convincing her to not go to high up!!!

Brigette, Tanner and Mason

After we went shooting at the badlands we headed into town for the Harvest Festival which included balloon animals, face painting, games for the kids, caramel apples, cotton candy, some delicious BBQ and a bunch of other stuff!! We had such an awesome day, can't wait to do it again!!!

S.S. Stampin Up

On Thursday I got a Stampin Up order in, Mason and Brigette were just as excited as I was for it. Except, I was excited for what was in the box, they were just excited for the box. Brigette has a little play cleaning set with a vacuum, mop, broom, etc. They used the mop and broom as oars...
And then blew out the back of the box!!!

What a couple of goofs!!!!

Also, Briggie and I got some Squtter Nut Bosches (aka: Butternut Squashes, thank you Tubbies)
from my Aunt from the family garden. We like to draw eyes and spooky mouths on them to make them look like ghosts. This squtter nut bosch is Brigette's wickedy ghost, and that is Brigette's wickedy ghost face, she did it all herself!!! I'm so proud ;)

Little Girl Feet

Saturday Tiff took Brigette with her to the local Pizza Hangout in town to pick up dinner while the men were at Priesthood meetings. Tiffany later informed me of the conversation she and Brigette had. It goes as follows:
Tiff: "Brigette, your feet are bare!"
Brigette: "My feet aren't bear feet!! They are little girl feet!"
Tiff: "Not 'Bear' feet, you don't have any shoes on!!"
Aren't little kids great!!!
